As many of you know, Carolee passed away in February 2017. She will truly be missed for the many other things she’s done as well as for her years as Chairperson of the Class Reunion Committee.

 

We have made plans for our 60th CLASS REUNION. It will be held on Saturday, September 9, at Ohio Living Lake Vista Retirement Center, 303 North Mecca Street, Cortland. Take Route 305 east out of Champion and cross the Mosquito Lake Reservoir; turn left at the stop sign. At the next traffic light–less than a mile, stay straight ahead for another mile or so to the traffic light with Speedway, RiteAid, and Walgreens on the corner. Turn right onto Route 46 and go almost a mile and then turn a slight left and cross the railroad tracks and at the stop sign, go straight for another quarter to half a mile on Route 46 (North Mecca Street). Lake Vista will be on your left. We will be in the clubhouse, the first building on the left in the driveway.

 

We will begin at 4:30 with dinner at 5:00. Cost of each meal is $25 and this will cover mailing costs, tips, etc. Please make checks payable to Marilyn Emery and return them in the provided self-addressed envelope BY AUGUST 15. No alcoholic beverages will be served so if desired, bring your own bottle and mix. Ice is provided.

 

Weather permitting, following the dinner we will go to the home of JIM AND GLORIA BACON, 7110 MAHONING AVENUE (just south of Champion Bristol Townline Road). Bring a jacket and your own lawn chair, if possible.
