The Rotary Club of Champion is very proud of its many friends around the world. Each year we are excited to visit with our friend from the North. Santa will arrive at approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. Our friends at the Champion Fire Department will escort Santa to the Champion Presbyterian Church since the reindeer are resting up for their big night. Santa will visit with everyone from 3 to 5 p.m. All community members are invited to partake in the festivities of the season. Come and relax, have a cookie and some cocoa, visit with neighbors and make new friends. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras to take pictures. MJO Photography will also be on hand to take photos with Santa.
Once again our trees will be decorated with art work from area students. All community members are encouraged to stop at our “Service above Self” Art Table and make a card. All cards are delivered to area seniors who greatly appreciate this homemade gift.
