Champion Fire Department partners with Energizer Battery
Champion Fire is pleased to announce that they have partnered once again with the Energizer Company and their Change Your Clock, Change Your Battery Campaign. Energizer has provided the department with a limited amount of 9V batteries that can be distributed to our residents in order for them to replace old batteries in their smoke detectors. Please feel free to stop by the fire station to receive your batteries. Due to the limited supply, only two batteries per household will be provided. Please call (330) 847-0311 if you are unable to change the batteries yourself, and the department will send personnel to your home to change the batteries for you. Thank you again to the Energizer Company for your continued support of this important community project.
Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. on Nov. 6. Don't forget to set your clocks on hour back and change batteries in all of your emergency equipment: fire detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and flashlights.
