SCAM ALERT: Champion Fire Chief public announcement
Champion Fire has been notified once again that some of our residents have been receiving phone calls that are soliciting funds on behalf of the Champion Township Fire Department.
Please remember Champion Fire has NEVER, nor will they EVER solicit donations over the phone from any of our residents.
These companies state that they provide the local fire department with much needed funding through your donation, this is not true. Champion Fire receives nothing from these donations. Please spread the word, especially to your elderly neighbors. If you are able to catch a phone number of someone calling asking for donations please try to write it down and call the station with the information. Thank you for your assistance.
