The Champion Local School District held its historical Groundbreaking Ceremony for the New Champion PK- 8 School on Sept. 12. The event took place on the PK- 8 property off the High School South Driveway.  The program featured State, Township and Board officials, CES and CMS student presentations; student artwork: Visions of My New School Display; a CHS Band performance, hard hat souvenirs, shovel/digging event and a drawing for students: winners launched the bulldozer; photo opportunity were available for students and delicious refreshments were served.
