St. William Knights of Columbus donate to Boy Scout Troop 4025

In an effort to provide for “their development and growth, physically, emotionally and spiritually” the Knights of Columbus John K Mahaney Council 7491 made a generous donation of $500.00 to Boy Scout Troop 4025. The Knights, affiliated with Saint William Parish, view supporting youth in the community as one of their many responsibilities and “look forward to these young people becoming a recognizable force for good, wholesome fun and leadership”.
Senior Patrol Leader David Carpenter accepted the donation for the troop and thanks the Knights for the donation noting that many in attendance at the December 4th meeting were also former scouts. Scoutmaster Adam Carpenter states that the funds will be used to decrease costs for planned outings during summer of 2020 including a backpacking trip, summer camp at Camp Manatoc, and a planned high ropes adventure at Elkhorn Christian Service Camp.
