IMPORTANT NOTICE for PARENTS of CENTRAL & CMS STUDENTS
Central/CMS students’ LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
has been changed to Tuesday, May 22 (original last day for students Wednesday, May 23 has been changed to a “Waiver Day” for K-8 teachers-ONLY.)
K-8 grade teachers will use May 23 to pack their classrooms materials in preparation for moving to the new PK-8 building.
Champion HS students’ LAST DAY OF SCHOOL remains Wednesday, May 23 due to High School exams schedules.
SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION WILL CONTINUE TO RUN ON May 23 for CHS students.
Tentative Timelines:
Closing of Central and CMS Buildings to the staff and public for school business: May 25
Preparation of CES/CMS contents for auction by Basinger Auctioning : end of May thru mid-June
Auction proceedings for CES/CMS contents: mid-June thru mid-July
Abatement of CES and CMS buildings: mid-July -August
Demolition of CES/CMS: end of August/Sept
