High School Library Books and Resource Materials Available to the Public

It is necessary for libraries to go through a process called “weeding” which is an approved method where books and resource materials are examined, and if found to be outdated are removed from the stacks.

Those weeded books will be available to the public via a library book sale to be held Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 5 - 7 p.m. in the Champion High School Media Center. Items will be available for a nominal cost of $ .50 or less. There is no limit on the number of books purchased.

Any items remaining after the sale will be donated to regional centers requesting such items. None of the weeded items will be thrown away. Please contact Carolyn Stear at the Board of Education Office with any questions.
