FOLLOW UPWaterline Informational Meeting with Community, Engineer, Trustees

On January 27th, 2020 the full board attended a public meeting in Champion High School Auditorium with the Trumbull County Engineers. This meeting was in reference to extending water lines to parts of the township that do not have city water at this time. The Engineers Office states that everyone affected by this project should have received a survey in the mail.

Responses for those interested in connecting to water service or those choosing to have a curb box on their property are still being accepted by the Trumbull County Sanitary Engineers. Questionnaires were sent to property owners on Oak Hill, State Road, State Route 305, Downs Road, Prentice Road, Bristol-Townline Road, Shaffer Road, Airport Road, North Park Avenue, Pierce Road, Mahoning Avenue, Sunnyfield Lane, and Center Street as well as properties in surrounding communities.

The Champion Township Board of Trustees believes that this project is beneficial to the residents of the Champion Township and supports the Trumbull County Engineers. If you did not receive a survey or have misplaced it, we will be providing them at the administrative office.
