Rotarian of the Year

2017 Rotarian of the Year: Bill Bryant - Rotarian, Veteran, Humanitarian

Bill Bryant was named 2017 Rotarian of the Year by 2016-17 club president John E. Fisher. Bill is a graduate from Warren G. Harding High School. He served in the United States Army and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. Bill is a devoted Mobile Meals volunteer, a service that he truly enjoys. He is very active in his church and he is on the board of the Trumbull Family Fitness.

Bill has diligently served as the club program chairman for many years; a position that most other clubs do not have. Bill organizes interesting and informative speakers to share knowledge, information and items of public interest for the club’s weekly meetings. Several times a year, Bill organizes excursions to area businesses and other organizations facilities to give members the opportunity to learn more about the community and share Rotary.

Bill also enthusiastically supports the club’s fundraising activities, regularly raising the bar, encouraging others to attend Rotary events.

Bill Bryant is an example of humble service and exuberant dedication to the principles of Rotary, specifically the ideal: “Service Above Self”.
