Come celebrate the Lady Flashes 8 State Title on June 25th!
 
Celebration of Lady Flashes State Championship –June 25, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the CHS Auditorium. The Champion Board of Education’s monthly meeting will be held that same evening at 6 p.m. in the Auditorium.

The Lady Flashes will also be honored at Eastwood Mall by the Cafaro Corporation on Tuesday, June 26 at 3 p.m. Later that night the Flashes will be throwing out the first pitch for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers Game at Eastwood Field.

CHS Track & Field compete at Regionals

Congratulations to all Champion High School Track & Field Athletes who competed in the Regional Track Meet Thursday and Saturday at Austintown Fitch High School. These fine young athletes have worked hard throughout this season! GO FLASHES!

TOWNSHIP OF CHAMPIONS

The Freshmen Team won the AAC Blue Tier Championship by defeating Newton Falls 40-19. The boys ended their season with a record of 11 – 4. Congratulations to the Champion High School 9th Grade boys basketball team, the coaches, cheerleaders, families and supporters.

On behalf of the Champion High School athletic department and the Champion Basketball Boosters, we would like to congratulate Drake Batcho on breaking 1000 points in his career here at Champion High School. Drake broke his record on January 23, 2018 at Brookfield High School where he led the Flashes to victory, scoring 37 points. Drake is the son of Joe and Antonia Batcho.  

After graduation, Drake will be attending the University of Cincinnati where he will major in business and be playing baseball.

To present Drake with the game ball is Head Boys Basketball Coach Nathan Kish.

Megan Turner and Drake Batcho recently signed letters of intent for 2018-19. Megan will be playing softball at Kent State University. Drake Batcho will be attending the University of Cincinnati where he will be playing baseball. Congratulations to both student athletes!
